Titanic the Musical had to be halted when, just as the ship hit the iceberg in the show, plaster from a backstage wall fell to the stage. Although the show was halted as a precaution, investigators found no major structural issues, and the production continued the next night as scheduled.

FRANKFURT, Germany — Messe Frankfurt, the organizers for the Prolight+Sound and Musikmesse events held this year from April 10-13 and April 11-14, respectively, announced that the two events will “overlap fully” in 2019, with both open from April 2-5. They will also be staged in closer proximity next year. The next Musikmesse Festival, meanwhile, is set for April 2-6, 2019.

FRANKFURT – One of the highlights at Robe’s Prolight+Sound booth this year was
Cirque Robe, a show designed by Robe's own creative team led by Nathan Wan and Andy Webb. The six-minute spectacle, staged every hour, took place within an eight-meter spherical ring with four trussing "king poles" and 270-degree seating. The lighting rig included 42 MegaPointes and 36 Tarrantulas.
