  • David Howard Mann, Owner of Jumbo Screen Co. Inc., Dies in LED Screen Accident

    SANTA BARBARA, CA — David Howard Mann, 49, the owner of Jumbo Screen Co. Inc., died Aug. 8 after a large LED video display that was being dismantled following its use at a weekend rodeo at Earl Warren Show Grounds toppled on top of him. Emergency responders gave Mann CPR and rushed him to a nearby hospital before he succumbed to his injuries.

The display, the largest yet to be built for temporary use in Europe, was for the Audi stand at the event’s indoor exhibition pavilion area at the Goodwood House in Sussex.
