    LAS VEGAS – With the theme “Connect to Life,” Intel’s booth at CES 2012 in Las Vegas featured a giant ecosystem of animated creatures whose interactions reflected the digital world in which Intel operates. Foghorn Creative created the live interactive display across “The Wave” with support from WorldStage. Visitors approached input stations where cameras scanned their hands or any other object, and seconds later they saw the scan generate an animated organism based on the scan outline. The organism, or creature, then became part of the intricate choreography of abstract creatures on the big screen.

The facility, near Denver, CO, is run by the United Launch Alliance (ULA), a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and The Boeing Company. The center is where engineers and staff oversee data required to complete successful launches and missions.

This is the first time animated video portraits have decorated Buckingham Palace (running until Saturday, April 21, 8:30-11:30 pm.) The Projection Studio is behind the event. HM The Queen herself was the production supervisor of sorts, having to approve it every step of the way.
