Analog Way’s Ascender 48 Drives The Comcast Experience Holiday Show in Philadelphia

ATLANTA – The Comcast Experience has begun this year’s Holiday Spectacular at the Winter Garden in the lobby of Comcast headquarters in Philadelphia where two Analog Way Ascender 48 systems drive one of the largest 4mm LED wall installations in the world.  David Niles of Niles Creative Group is responsible for the wall’s content concept and production year round since its inception and handled the project’s systems design and integration.

Green Hippo Ensemble Shines at Inaugural Eurovision Choir of the Year contest

LATVIA - The first Eurovision Choir of the Year contest took place in Riga, Latvia. Organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Interkultur Foundation, the inaugural event hosted nine professional choirs, each one representing a different European country. The venue was the Arena Riga, a 14,500-capacity stadium, and Green Hippo technology was on hand to help deliver a live spectacular, in keeping of the EBU’s best known production, the Eurovision Song Contest.

Micro Studio Camera 4K and Teranex AV Used on Fall Out Boy’s MANIA World Tour

FREMONT, CA - Blackmagic Design today announced that Grammy-nominated American rock band Fall Out Boy’s worldwide MANIA tour is using a complete Blackmagic Design live production workflow for IMAG and AV. Blackmagic Design’s Micro Studio Camera 4Ks and Teranex AV standards converters are being used for image capture and signal conversion on the tour, along with several other products, including an ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K live production switcher, MultiView 16 monitor, Smart Videohub 40x40 and Smart Videohub CleanSwitch 12x12 routers.

disguise Supports Yuzu Tour Featuring Innovative Sculptural LED Character

JAPAN  – Japanese folk-rock duo Yuzu are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a tour across Japan.  The band’s unique stage show features a huge back wall of LED screens of assorted sizes and shapes and a giant sculptural Yuzutaro LED – an anthropomorphic character whose head is fashioned from the Japanese citrus fruit called yuzu.  disguise (formerly known as d3) 4x4pro media servers were chosen to unify the different feeds needed to push content to the LED back wall, the sculptural Yuzutaro LED plus the stage riser LED.
