OPERATIONS MANAGER
TMB is a specialized wholesale distribution company with locations in Los Angeles, London, New York, Toronto and Beijing. TMB has been in business for 25 years of strong growth, based on quality and expedited service. We are seeking a Manager for our North American Operations, based in Southern California. The successful candidate will have a background in distribution, ideally in a time-critical industry. On a daily basis they must have an ability to think fast, improvise, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. They will have highly developed organizational skills and the ability to lead and motivate. On a long term basis the candidate must also be able to assume a major role in the long range tactical planning and development of the company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Overall management of Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, Assembly, Order Entry and Customer Service departments. • Act as liaison for Operations with all other departments of TMB, including Marketing, Sales and Accounting. • Coordinate expedited orders and projects, assist internal communication and fully resolve problems. LIGHT DESIGNER FOR CLUB MED RESORTS

Our Club Med Sandpiper resort located in Florida requires a Club Med G.O. light engineer and one G.O. "poly valant". The poly vant position translates into "jack of all trades", someone with some light, sound, and DJ background.
Enjoy a chance to work on a team for 6 months. Receive transportation, room & board, medical coverage, sports participation, a multi cultural education, and a chance to express yourself profesionally. Light designers work evening shows on stage, outdoor flying trapeze spectacles, and small scale bar & resort events. Organization, instalation, and design during the shows is a requirement. Sales Assistant, Project Support
Secaucus office of New York based Lighting Rental house, seeks an Outside Sales support person with Lighting Design experience to assist Lighting Rental sales department. Position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals seeking stability and increased experience with equipment and genres of lighting design.

Must have solid working knowledge of Vectorworks, Excel, Word and good written and verbal communication skills. Position begins ASAP after 4/21.

Responsibilities include: Administrative duties that develop into Outside Sales; Spending face-time with Design clients; Assisting Design clients to realize their design; Client care; helping to guide the development of a growing sales department.

Short-term responsibilities include; scheduling and overseeing special projects like Demos, Training and Hosting Forums; Tracking jobs and spending until an administrative assistant is hired.

The ability to interact with staff, clients, and colleagues while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient is crucial. Training on established procedures provided.
