GEELONG, Australia — The Floating Christmas Tree in Geelong near Melbourne, Australia was lit nightly from Nov. 11-Jan. 7, incorporated a six-minute programmed light show designed by LD Mark Hammer that ran at scheduled intervals and was updated as the holiday season progressed. The setup included a Jands Vista v2 running on a powerful PC with another running tracking backup.

LONDON — On Nov. 22, 2016, Save the Children returned to Guildhall for its annual Winter Gala. Guests were transported into the world of Roald Dahl, in celebration of the much-loved author’s centenary. Private Drama, which produced the event, turned to White Light to provide the complete technical support on the evening.

Rubicon Warms Up Norwegian Port with Chauvet Professional and Iluminarc

DRAMMEN, Norway — Rubicon supplied Chauvet Professional and Iluminarc fixtures to light up the two 60-meter high cranes at the mouth of the Drammen river. The project was overseen by the Drammen Port Authority and the opening ceremony/switch on event was aired live by NRK. Pål Erik Gulbrandsen served as project manager at Rubicon and credited the LED fixtures for their brightness and IP ratings that allowed for outdoor use.
