NEW YORK — ESTA recently introduced the Business Peer Group Advisory Program (BPGAP), an opportunity for members to meet regularly with a small group of people from the industry with similar business issues, questions and solutions. The program provides a forum where members can discuss, share and brainstorm to help their businesses and each other. BPGAP is open to individuals from ESTA dealer, manufacturer, production and professional service members and is designed to provide peer interaction at many levels. There will be groups for CEOs, sales managers, rental managers, marketing managers, project managers and others as requested. Each group will be assigned a facilitator to monitor and enforce anti-trust compliance.
The small size of the groups (six to eight members) and face-to-face interaction three to four times a year over an extended period of time is the basis for creating a productive and supportive learning environment. Each group is self-directed and autonomous in its selection of meeting topics, conduct of meetings, and sharing of information subject to established policies and procedures.
“The ESTA Board of Directors is particularly pleased to make the Business Peer Group Advisory Program available to members at this time, when economic uncertainties make running a business even more challenging and the need for knowledgeable advice and information is critical,” said ESTA president Bill Groener.
The program is dedicated to the continuous improvement of each member’s leadership skills in operating and perpetuating their business, using shared experiences to promote best practices.
