LOS ANGELES — Total Structures recently provided Epic Production Technologies with over 500 feet of its Element 12 and Element 20 truss for the 2,300 capacity, 59,000-square-foot nightclub venue, Club Nokia LA Live. The truss, all powder coated with a specific texture of black, varied from straight 20.5-inch square Element 20, fitted with steel fork-ends for maximum strength, to 12-inch square Element 12 nut and bolt connection truss, custom-radiused to match the architectural lines of the newly completed building.
The truss was designed, fabricated and delivered to site in less than three weeks. It is used to support the house lighting, audio and projection equipment. It also gives visiting acts some flexibility in hanging their own gear.
