NEW YORK — I. Weiss provided a new stage rigging system with a motorized line shaft-operated fire curtain, 56 single purchase counterweight line sets and a new house curtain and valance for the Henry Miller Theater on Broadway. The company also provided the theatre’s demountable platform and stage pit filler system. The project consultant was Fisher Dachs Associates.
I. Weiss is now working with Schuler Shook on the renovation of the David H. Koch Theater, home of New York City Ballet and New York City Opera at Lincoln Center. That project includes new motorized rigging, a fire curtain and pit lift. It is expected to be completed in time for the 2009/2010 season.
