MIAMI — As the 2009 NFL season approached, Jeff Griffith, Dolphins’ senior programming director, called on Florida-based Chauvet to supply lighting gear for the team’s video clips, which are shown during home games. Chauvet, which last year supplied the ColoRado wash lights that lit Landshark Stadium’s exterior and surrounding landscape during the holidays in the team’s aqua and orange colors, provided Griffith with three Q-Spot 250 LED fixtures and one Arena Hazer.
Griffith said the units produced the right amount of excitement and movement for more than 30 clips of players, cheerleaders, referees and fans. “We continue to be impressed with the quality and ingenuity of the Chauvet products and its staff,” Griffith said. “We will keep turning to them for all our specialty needs.”
The Florida-based Chauvet staff includes its share of Dolphins fans, including CEO Albert Chauvet, so the company relishes the chance to support with the team.
