GefenTV is now shipping its Wireless for HDMI 60 GHz extender. This sender/receiver system is the fourth product from Gefen offering wireless video connectivity. The three others include the GefenTV Wireless for VGA; Gefen Wireless for HDMI UWB; and GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 5 GHz extenders. The Wireless for HDMI 60 GHz employs multi-antenna technology from SiBeam that enables HDMI extension supporting full HD resolutions at 1080p. This is the first wireless solution from Gefen that is uncompressed at the 3 GHz bandwidth. Multi-channel audio is delivered alongside the video with support for many HDMI v1.3 features.
