HONG KONG – Robert Juliat dealer Pacific Lighting Ltd provided 24 RJ 611SX profiles for the City Hall Concert Hall, the largest interior venue within the Hong Kong City Hall complex, which also houses a theatre, an exhibition hall, gallery and numerous restaurants. The fixtures have been installed on the Front-of-House bridges. Built in the 1960s, the 1,434-seat Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall is administered by the Hong Kong Leisure & Cultural Services Department, It is a multi-functional space used for symphony, chamber, recital, jazz, opera and chorus music performances, along with other forms of performing art, such as dance, drama and Chinese opera.

The Hong Kong Leisure & Cultural Services Department, which had relied upon Pacific Lighting Ltd. before, used them again for the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall lighting upgrade.

"The Hong Kong Leisure & Cultural Services Department requested some 1K profiles for the City Hall following positive feedback from the Cultural Centre, where the RJ 710SX 2K profiles were a proven success," said Pacific Lighting's director, Hugh Chinnick.

"We provided a demonstration of Robert Juliat's 1K RJ 600 Series profiles on site at the City Hall Concert Hall. This confirmed that the optical quality and coverage capabilities of the Robert Juliat units were ideal for the venue and for the variety of uses to which they would be put."
