Stageline Supports Kids’ Fitness Program with Two-Level Building

Share this Post:

MONTREAL – Stageline is supporting the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie, a fitness awareness-building program and competition for kids, with a two-level mobile building unit that can be assembled outdoors by four crew members in about three hours. Stageline transformed the structure of a 32-foot-by-24-foot mobile stage – the same mobile stage model supporting the Olympic Torch Relay – into a two-level mobile building to educate and demonstrate to hundreds of students per day about the importance of physical training.

The first level has been equipped with multimedia stations including touch screens and computers.  The second level features a training room with 16 pre-positioned stationary bicycles connected to special training software.

Stageline views the project as more than an interesting technical challenge, citing the commercial potential of multi-purpose, multi-level buildings that can be quickly assembled to serve various needs.

Stageline also thanked the CQRDA (Centre Quebecois de recherche et de développement de l'aluminium) for its financial contribution as well as the team of the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie for their vision.
