FRANKFURT, Germany – Wireless Solution Sweden AB, which participated in ProLight + Sound, headed back to Frankfurt again recently to demonstrate its new W-DMX G4 line at Light + Building, the international trade fair for architecture and technology, which took place from April 11-15. Wireless Solution, which has claimed to be as good as cable, now says its wireless technology is better, noting that its new G4 BlackBox is able to repair corrupted data and vouches for maximum security by running on dual band and creating a backup duplicate of the signal.
This new standard, Wireless Solution adds, is transparent and works with several protocols, for a combination of flexibility and reliability without the need for additional controllers or software.
The new G4 product line builds on existing W-DMX solutions, which include Adaptive Frequency Hopping technology, W-DMX invisi-wire and data-safe technologies for fidelity, and RDM so units can be configured remotely. W-DMX G4 also supports the 5.8GHz band, ensuring that even if the 2.4GHz band becomes too crowded with other users, its customers' lighting control will remains reliable.
