SOLOTHURN, Switzerland – LEDs supplied by Coemar were used to light the Kulturm tower in late March. The tower, built in 1538, has been used for defense, as a granary, prison, bunker, and, most recently, as a multi-purpose cultural center for theatrical and art events. The lighting highlighted the tower's textured stonework with nine StageLite LEDs at the base of the tower and six StripLite LEDs in the loopholes. This setup allowed for contrasting, dynamic colors using RGB + White LEDs and additional effects made possible through dimming and by varying projection angles.
