BANGALORE, India – ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc.) has named long-time U.S. dealer Barbizon Lighting Company Inc. as its official distributor in India. With its newly-established office here, Barbizon Lighting will support those purchasing ETC products in India with is a sales, service and educational support. Barbizon is also working with dealers across India to provide information on product lines including ETC Sensor+ dimming, the Eos, Congo and SmartFade families of control consoles, the Unison Paradigm lighting-control line, ETC's Selador Series LEDs, and the existing Source Four line already widely in use in India.
"For more than twenty years, Barbizon and ETC have been working together to serve the lighting industry around the world," said ETC CEO Fred Foster. "It is a natural step to work with Barbizon to provide the same excellent level of service and technology to the lighting industries in India."

Abhay Shah is the manager of Barbizon India, heading up the Bangalore office. Shah holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University, with a specialty in Supply Chain Research.
The Barbizon India office has already supplied ETC lighting equipment and systems to Electrocraft and Kasthuri TV and is handling the specifications and project management for a new educational facility and a convention center.
