LONDON – The Stage Technologies training department is offering new one-day introductory courses on automation and operator programming. The courses, set for Sept. 27, 28 and 29, are aimed at students, technical professionals and automation operators seeking to expand their skills. Course 1, Introduction to Automation and the eChameleon Suite, is geared for beginners, providing automation basics, terminology and how automation systems work. It also offers a basic understanding of eChameleon features and functionality with an emphasis on safety.
Course 2, eChameleon Suite Plotting and Programming, takes programming abilities to the next level. Trainers will demonstrate a step-by-step guided tutorial of setting up a basic show, plotting and show running techniques, best practices with eChameleon and the basics of advanced and complex plotting within eChameleon (including Stage Technologies Sculptor and 3DST software tools).
Classes are £75 per person, include a light lunch, and will be held at The Theatre's Trust Sept. 27-29.
