AUSTIN, TX – For the three-day Austin City Limits Music Festival, which drew over 200,000 to see performances by more than 130 music acts from around the world including The Eagles, Muse, Phish, The Strokes, and M.I.A., eps provided security gates, ground cover, and flagpoles. Each day of the three-day festival, 75,000 attendees were safely ushered though eps' FORIS Security Gates positioned at the two public entrances to Zilker Park. Each entrance was additionally equipped with two extra-wide, wheelchair-accessible gates. It took a crew of six only a few hours to set up the gates, and once constructed, fencing was attached on either side to create a completely secure access point.

Backstage received some help from eps' ground cover as well. A total of 1,400 square feet of Hexagon Interlocking Tiles made up a walkway, ensuring artists, crew, and guests could reach the Artists' Village even in the event of bad weather. The shape of the tiles provided greater flexibility in the configuration, and because the tiles are small and portable, they were laid manually in a very short time by a couple of crew.

Over in another section of the park, Arena Panels furnished by eps were used to create a staging platform for shuttles moving VIPs and event personnel around the site. During festival set-up, these same Arena Panels had been used as a temporary roadway for 66,000-lb. trucks carrying ice to vendors across the park – protecting the grass of Austin's "Great Lawn." The lightweight construction of these panels facilitated this dual usage – laying and taking-up the panels was a quick and easy task for six crew members and a forklift.

Throughout the 46-acre site, banners on eps' 32 foot flagpoles guided festival-goers towards restroom facilities.

The promoter and producer of the festival, now in its ninth year, was C3 Presents.
