Bandit Lites Backs Status Quo in U.K., Europe

LONDON – Like Status Quo's Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt, Bandit Lites has been banking on the popularity of classic rock ‘n' roll for more than 40 years. The band's LD, Pat Marks, and production manager Glen Smith relied on Bandit in 2010 for shows in the U.K. and Europe, and 2011's shows will be supporting the band's 29th album, Quid Pro Quo. Along with the usual assortment of ACLs, 8 lights, PARs and Source 4 Lekos, Marks used Martin MAC 2000 Washes, Clay Paky Alpha Beams, Atomic Strobes, LED PARs and a full-on LED screen for the 2010 shows, all provided by Bandit. Marks used a grandMA console linked to Catalyst media servers for control.

Crew chief Ian "Mac" MacEwan, technician Tom Crosby and video technician Alain Demy kept the system on the road throughout 2010.
