COLOGNE, Germany – The first coolux connect conference, held in Cologne from Jan. 11-12, drew about 180 industry professionals, including designers, technical directors, operators and content creators, to learn about the latest changes with coolux products. Representatives from Cast Software, publitec, sonic emotion, schokopro, LOOP LIGHT and VER rentals were among those attending.
Seminar topics included screen tracking, interactive show design, 24/7 installations, advanced warping techniques, WYSIWYG and multi-touch applications.
Coolux CEO Jan Huewel discussed Pandoras Box developments and coolux Widget Designer 3.0, featuring multi-touch capabilities, camera based motion detection and Microsoft Kinect input.
"Due to the extremely positive feedback we have received, I am pretty sure that we will host another coolux connect conference in the not too distant future," Huewel said. "We want to establish this conference as a regularly-occurring event," he added.
