SUN VALLEY, CA – GLP (German Light Products) Inc. has launched Scenex Lighting, a division focused on LED lighting fixtures that can be used by set designers for their scenic elements. The initial product line includes a new truss toner fixture, LED tape fixtures, decorative wall and counter mount fixtures and 360-degree color mixing globes. The new dedicated truss toner uses 12 tricolor 3-watt LEDs and offers a tight 10-degree beam with a bright output. Features include data in/out and power in/out connectors mounted on the side of the fixture, allowing for back to back mounting. It comes in a square format to light square truss.
The range of low-profile LED tapes, in both flexible and fixed housings, are rated up to IP55. Incorporating high output LEDs, tapes are available in a variety of colors, color temperatures, and as full color mixing RGB. Flexible tapes have been designed for re-use on temporary sets and stages with the fixed housing tapes geared towards long term productions and permanent installations.
The decorative wall and counter mount fixtures have diffuse integral RGB lighting and are designed to integrate easily into a production's main lighting scheme. The 360-degree color mixing globes are available in sizes of up to 3 feet in diameter.
