ZUBRI, Czech Republic – An Anolis LED lighting design is an integral part of Architect Karel Janća's new interior design for the Duel Sports Bar, a bar and eatery owned by Rene Doricak. Adjacent to a sports hall run by the city of Zubri in between two Moravian towns – Rožnov pod RadhoštÄ›m and Valašské MeziÃ…â„¢íÄÂí, Janća approached Anolis's Czech & Slovak Republic sales manager Petr KolmaÄÂka to discuss an LED lighting solution.
Janća wanted to use power-efficient "green" lighting to add energy and fun to the new interior, which includes colors like lime green, white and yellow with natural wood finishes amid a distinctive steel architectural feature in the center of the space.
Janća sought out Anolis, not just because it was a local company, but it also came recommended for its reliability and value for the money.
Above the bar, a frosted Perspex light box is lit by 10 Anolis ArcLinks, and another 10 ArcLinks are within the bar itself. The bottle shelves at the back of the bar are up-lit with 12 ArcLinks. At the top of the entrance stairs, illuminating a lightwall feature, there is a single Anolis ArcLine 36 RGB Optic fixture with 25 degree lens. An Anolis ArcPower 36 provides control.
A second phase of lighting is now being planned to highlight the steel sculpture.
"It's the first use of Anolis in a bar venue in the region, and is very different from anything else, consequently, the lighting is having a huge impact and really making people talk," said KolmaÄÂka.
