MEXICO CITY – Jerry Colmenero, Strong's independent representative for Latin America, has established Teletec as Strong Entertainment Lighting's distributor for Mexico. "Teletec has continuously proven itself as a strong player in the theatrical and television studio lighting market and with their ShowCo division they have also expanded into touring production supply, for Strong this is ultimately the best choice." Says Jerry Colmenero. Teletec , located in Mexico City with satellite offices in Cancun, Guanajuato, and Guadalajara, is a full service distributor with a design, installation and service departments. Teletec also manufacturers its own line of counter-weight and theatrical rigging systems and has facilities that cover greater than 50,000 square feet. Teletec has the distinction of providing equipment for the Televisa and Azteca television networks, most major theaters including the Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Mexican Pavilions for the World's Fairs.
