MINSK, Belarus – The lighting rig for the new Minsk Arena, a 15,000-seat ice hockey arena also used as a concert hall, includes Robe gear specified by Robe's Belarus distributor Art Ramos. Part of a government contract, the main contractor, Belcultproject, supplied the products to the venue. Art Ramos' Anton Streltsov specified 12 DigitalSpot 7000DTs and 16 ColorSpot 700E ATs to serve as part of the "house" rig, and the Robe fixtures have already been put to use for artists including Linkin' Park, Rammstein, Elton John and Sting and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010.

The DigitalSpots are also used for all the pre-game shows hosted by local ice hockey team, Dinamo Minsk, in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). During games, they are positioned about 16 meters above the 58 by 30 meter ice surface, creating visual effects and projecting logos.
The house rig also features other moving lights and lots of generics, all of which are controlled via a grandMA full size console, plus MA VPUs for storage and playback of video materials.

For the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the DigitalSpots were fed content from Catalyst media servers integrated into the system for the event.
Streltsov credited the ColorSpot 700E ATs for their light output, gobos, digital lighting effects and ability to generate video scenes.
