MEXICO CITY – Tomcat brought its truss and grid products to the Sound:Check Expo for the first time, joining fellow Vitec group plc companies Brilliant Stages and Litec at the event. It took place at the World Trade Center in Mexico City from March 20-22. Although exhibiting at the event for the first time, Tomcat isn't exactly a newcomer to Mexico, according to Tony Vierling, Tomcat Sales Manager for Mexico and Latin America. The company been involved in projects within the country since 1999, and played a key role for major projects in recent years.

"We have been a part of important projects, like the gigantic screen for the bicentennial festivities in Mexico, the Soda Stereo concerts in Venezuela, several Televisa productions, among many others, and our support systems have been used for many artists in Mexico and Latin America," Vierling noted.
During Sound:Check Expo, Tomcat exhibited its CORE truss, TRACK truss, EDGE truss; LIBERA grid; DANCE Tower, L-25 Speaker Tower and M-30 Speaker Tower; Tomcat also displayed a rigging and motor package in its 20-by-30-foot booth. In addition, Tomcat displayed its Speaker Towers and EDGE truss on the ATLAS booth grid.
