LOS ANGELES, CA – Elation Professional is offering more products for broadcast and video production applications, including high resolution video walls, scenic lighting, set and key lighting and DMX control systems, and recent high-profile applications include the KABC Red Carpet Academy Award Night broadcast, Dick Clark New Year's Rockin Eve 2011 with Ryan Seacrest, a Hanna Montana concert video, NBC-4 Burbank studios and Telemundo, among others. As such, Elation Professional is participating in the NAB show in Las Vegas from April 11-14. Products on display include the flicker-free TVL 2000 white LED panel, with 450 cool white LEDs and 450 warm white LEDs, which can be combined for color temperatures from 3200KËš to 6500K.Ëš The unit provides a 30Ëš beam angle standard and produces up to 98 foot candles at a 10-foot throw, and features full 0%-100% dimming capabilities, allowing the user to fade in and out and control the intensity of the light.
Another product on display is the WW Tone – a white LED wash fixture that can be used for keylighting or as a stage fixture. It's convection cooled, so it operates silently, plus it has a 3,000K color temperature and a new Bridgelux source. A 25° lens is standard and a 45° optional lens is also available.
Elation Professional Video (EPV) represents the convergence of lighting and video technologies. Bright, compact and easy to hang, the panels in this series have pixel pitches down to 6mm and up to 15mm, and they range from 1,800 to 4,000 nit to meet a variety of application demands. All panels in the series offer 16 bit processing, high refresh rates and fine resolution. The slim panel design makes these light easy to hang unobtrusively, even in tight spaces. Included in the series is the new EPV Flex Panel model, which can be wrapped around posts or curved surfaces on sets.
Elation's Platinum Wash LED Zoom features a 300 watt Quad Color LED light source. The fixture has an output comparable to a 575-watt wash, yet it consumes far less power. As an LED unit, it also generates very little heat. The Quad Color source is made up of 30 10-watt RGB CREE LEDS, which provide a wide range of colors. Other features include 11°-50° zoom, three DMX modes and built in remote control.
