AUSTIN, TX – SHS Global has been named the U.S. representative of Theatrixx, a Montreal-based manufacturer of power distribution systems. Theatrixx also distributes various LED products in the Americas: Visualed touring LED screens, X-Vision installation LED screens, and Theatrixx’s own brand of X-Vision LED fixtures. The agreement means that SHS Global will serve as the U.S. distributor for those products, while Theatrixx continues to distribute those brands in Canada, Mexico and South America.
“We are excited to give SHS Global the opportunity to represent our brands in the U.S.,” said Theatrixx Technologies CEO Jacques Tessier.
SHS Global, founded as Second Hand Solutions, has specialized in selling pre-owned lighting and staging equipment since it was established in 2005. The agreement with Theatrixx means the privately-owned company, led by president/founder Leigh-Anne Aiken and VP/CTO Jean Lariviere, will now handle sales for new equipment for the first time.
“We were offered the opportunity to sell other new product brands in the past but we were reluctant to do so due to the lack of support from those manufacturers,” said Lariviere. “With this line of products, we are confident that we can offer the best support and solutions. Customers always ask for LED light and video products, so that’s why we were looking to find a reputable brand to offer.”
Along with its expansion of product offerings, SHS Global is expanding its outreach physically. Dealers are now being sought in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Texas.
