RENO, NV — David Chesal, the interior and lighting designer for The Penthouse Club, used about 60 Robe moving lights and close to 1,000 Anolis LED fixtures for the gentleman’s club, including Anolis ArcSource, ArcLine and ArcLink fixtures. Sound Stage Systems, led by Karl Kieslich, worked with Chesal and his team on the installation.

Chesal noted that lighting is “vital” for establishing mood, and the flexible fixtures light the stages, bars, dance floors, dining areas, staircases, balconies, private elements, elevators and toilets, bottle shelves, reception desk, coat check and the exterior with colors that can change.

“I needed a brand with a wide and dynamic variety of sources to choose from, so I could light everything from a single bottle to a complete room,” Chesal said, calling the Anolis lightsources “perfect for the job.”

He used the Anolis fixtures for multiple tasks from effects lighting in the bars and numerous other spaces to practical lighting around the reception and work areas. Even the iced bar top “drink rinks” are illuminated.

The fixtures feature homogenized light engines, advanced optics and smooth dimming and color changing capabilities, and Chesal also credited their range of color, from pastels to saturated hues.

The also offer advantages in terms of energy efficiency and low maintenance requirements.
