Ilisca’s design required a large lighting rig. It featured a large center circle truss with a multitude of spokes running into the audience. Five custom-built “sails” also hung above the upstage portion of the arena to serve as a ceiling of sorts. The design also called for Martin LC series panels to be used among the three main video screens to provide graphics and animation to accompany the video content.
The truss spokes featured more than 80 Chroma-Q Color Force LED battens. “Having the Color Force LEDs lining the truss was spectacular. Pixel mapping was a breeze, and we were able to make the effects grandiose while keeping the programming simple,” said Ilisca, who also credited Bob Gaynor and the team at 4Wall for providing “outstanding gear and support.”
Chad Lussier and Patrick Mucha served as programmers for the show and Scott Roper was the Master Electrician.
