WARSAW, Poland — Warsaw’s skyline became more colorful when the central tower for the city’s Palace of Culture and Science received a lighting update from Prolight, using Griven Powershine D RGBW fixtures controlled by Wireless Solution’s W-DMX.

Prolight used the Griven fixtures for the main tower building, with additional units installed on the decks of the four lower turrets to wash the uncolored corners of the tower in light. In addition Prolight installed 48 Danube 45° units within the windows of the main tower and the four turrets. The project was completed in February 2011.

Four W-DMX WhiteBox F-1 and 14 WhiteBox R-512 were used. Wireless Solution provided on-site support for the project, which covers all four sides of the building. Griven has also used W-DMX for projects in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.

“W-DMX made this installation possible,” said Rados?aw “Radi” Zacheja, sales director for Prolight, who credited the gear for its reliability. “The palace looks incredible, and we’re happy we could be a part of it,” added Niclas Arvidsson, CEO of Wireless Solution.
