Bob Ferra Joins A.C.T Lighting as Cable Product Specialist

LOS ANGELES – Bob Ferra has joined A.C.T Lighting as Product Specialist for the company’s cable business. Previously, Ferra worked in business development for AV products at a leading cable manufacturer, where he introduced their line of AV cable assemblies and designed numerous products for OEM customers.

A.C.T Lighting Welcomes Bob Ferra as Product Specialist
for the Company’s Cable Business

LOS ANGELES– A.C.T Lighting, importer and distributor of lighting products, announces that Bob Ferra has joined the company as Product Specialist for the company’s cable business.

“Bob will be creating strategy to sell A.C.T Lighting’s cable products to new customers while continuing to expand cable sales to our existing customer base,” says Executive VP/ COO Ben Saltzman.

“A.C.T Lighting’s reputation for high-end products is only surpassed by their industry-leading customer service,” notes Ferra.  “I’m excited about joining a remarkable team of professionals and adding my expertise to the wide array of world-class products offered by A.C.T Lighting.”

Prior to coming on board at A.C.T Lighting, Ferra worked in business development for AV products at a leading cable manufacturer where he introduced their line of AV cable assemblies and designed numerous products for OEM customers.  Earlier he served as their general manager, launched the company’s West Coast office and acted as western territory manager while he continued his GM duties part-time.

Before that, Ferra had founded and headed Ferra Tech from 1986 to June 2007, establishing the company as a go-to shop for cable assemblies, wiring harnesses and cable packages for lighting and audio productions, tour support, recording studios, OEM manufacturers and others. For close to two years, Ferra acted as install coordinator for client A&M Recording Studios, where he coordinated with outside wiring contractors to build five rooms for the recording giant.
