LUCERNE, Switzerland — Walt Disney’s animation masterpiece, Fantasia, may have been released more than 70 years ago, but a special screening here that was accompanied by a live performance by the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra relied on recent technology to keep everything in synch: coolux Pandoras Box.
The special screening and live orchestra performance, produced by Art Productions Luzern, was seen and heard by close to 2,000. Moodbox GmbH’s Martin Kuhn, who used Pandoras Box technology to coordinate the video playback, sound effects and also the optical click tracks that conductor Ludwig Wicki relied upon to keep the orchestra in tune with the visuals.
Auviso AG provided the gear, which included two coolux Pandoras Box Version 5 Dual Servers, two Version 5 Manager PRO Systems, one Widget Designer PRO and two Christie J Series Full HD 20.000 Ansi Lumen projectors.
