4Wall Supports Hemsley Lighting Portfolio Review

MOONACHIE, NJ – More than 30 students from around the country participated in the Hemsley Lighting Portfolio Review at 4Wall’s warehouse located in Moonachie, NJ.  Product shoot-outs, lighting demos, presentations and more provided the students with an opportunity to better understand the lighting industry.

MOONACHIE, NJ- For the third consecutive year 4Wall New York hosted students participating in the Hemsley Lighting Portfolio Review for a night of moving light demonstrations and “shoot-outs.”

More than 30 students from around the country participated in the event led by the team of Designer David Grill and Programmer Paul Sonnleitner.  Held at 4Wall’s warehouse located in Moonachie, NJ, the seminar has become an integral part of the Portfolio Review weekend and allows the participating students an opportunity to view a wide range of fixtures in side by side comparisons.

The night also featured instruction and detail provided by top designers and programmers about their work as well as insights into the art and craft of moving light design and programming.

In addition to showing a variety of products from Clay Paky, Martin Professional, and Vari-Lite, the instructors spoke on topics such as vocabulary, unit selection, console language and layout and more.  The event gave students a greater understanding of moving lights and their role in the world of entertainment lighting.
