NEW YORK – PLASA announces the Connectivity Pavilion at the LDI 2012 Show, to be held Oct. 19-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This pavilion at booth 2041 will include a demonstration area for manufacturers’ implementations of PLASA’s ANSI standards used throughout the lighting control industry.

Says PLASA’s Technical Standards Manager Karl Ruling, “By bringing together various pieces of equipment in a neutral area, we are able to show the public how various manufacturers’ products can be integrated, and demonstrate that the protocols worked on by these member manufacturers are viable and available for use in today’s applications and specifications.”

PLASA is putting out a call out to all worldwide manufacturers who wish to supply product for this year’s Connectivity Pavilion. PLASA is looking for controllers, signal distribution, fixtures, accessories, monitoring and other forms of equipment that implement current standards, including, but not limited to, ANSI E1.11 (DMX512-A), ANSI E1.17 (ACN), ANSI E1.20 (RDM), ANSI E1.31 (sACN), and others.
