The 2012 PLSN/FOH Celebrity Golf Classic promises to be a rewarding experience for everybody attending, for seasoned pros and weekend duffers alike. With dozens of fearsome foursomes hitting the links at the luxurious Arroyo Club on Oct. 18, low-score bragging rights may be elusive. But trophies will be awarded to the top three teams, and even those with the highest number of strokes won’t go home empty handed; they’ll receive a set of consolatory tennis racquets.
The golf tournament is open to industry professionals and their guests. It’s a great way to meet and network with the current leaders of our industry. Whether you play as an individual or come with a team, there are many levels for you to participate. In addition to cart and green fees, the golf tournament fee covers a continental breakfast, a lunch barbecue, beverages, range balls, tournament bags, framed pictures of each foursome and access to mini-clinics by golf pros. The Parnelli Awards Dinner is set for the Mirage in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 20. It begins with a cocktail reception at 7 pm. The dinner and awards start at 8 pm, hosted this year by Cory Wells of 3 Dog Night fame. The evening will honor Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Charlie Hernandez, Visionary Award recipient Joe Branam and Audio Innovators Dave Shadoan and (posthumously) Ross Ritto.
