LEBANON, UAE – The latest Middle East technical production company to invest in Robe products is Sound On Stage, based in Lebanon and the UAE, and run by Mazan and Rawad Saad.
The audio specialist company wanted to expand its operation to include lighting, so recently made an investment in Robe’s Robin LEDWash 1200 and 600s, MMX Spots and LEDBeam 100s to kick start its lighting rental stock.
Sound On Stage supplies design services, equipment and crew for a variety of corporate events/presentations and live concerts and shows.
It is important to the Saad Brothers to have the latest lighting technology and to maintain the standards of excellence expected from the company in this new area, and so they chose Robe.
Robe’s Middle East Sales Manager Elie Battah coordinated the deal.
Says Rawad, “We really liked the Robin range for its light weight, which makes the physical handling extremely easy.”
He adds that Robe’s reputation for reliability and robustness was another key reason leading to their decision, together with the after-sales support from the Middle East service team.
“While we have been a sound company, we have also kept a keen eye on developments in the lighting industry, and think that Robe is currently the only brand offering a wide range of state-of-the-art moving light products,” says Rawad.
The ‘green’ aspects of Robe’s Robin product range were also a bonus.
Sound On Stage has already used its new Robe fixtures on several events and are expecting a busy upcoming show season.
