LINCOLN, NE — Battling health issues that ranged from the diagnosis of a bleeding ulcer in January to pneumonia in both lungs earlier this month, Morrissey, 53, has been forced to cancel the remaining 22 tour dates on his on-again, off-again North American tour, which had been set to run through May 1. There are no plans to reschedule the shows, said Morrissey’s publicist, Lauren Papapietro.
The canceled shows included performances planned for Lawrence, KS and Lincoln, NE on March 18 and 19, and included stops in Minneapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Phoenix and Denver. The tour had been set to wrap up with shows in San Francisco April 30 and May 1.
