Miss Sri Lanka Pageant Lit with PR Lighting Fixtures

WADDUWA, Sri Lanka — The Lighthouse (Pvt), the production company that has been supporting the annual Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2013 pageant in recent years, provided 16 XS1200 Spots and 13 XR200 Beam fixtures from PR Lighting for the 2013 event, which was staged at the Blue Water Hotel here earlier this year.

The company’s Dinusha Perera based his lighting plot for the ballroom stage entirely on LED and discharge fixtures from PR Lighting, which form the core of Lighthouse’s rental stock, to complement the set design from Madawa Madawala of Derana TV.

Chosen for their bright output, advanced featureset and good color referencing, Perera selected 16 XS1200 Spot, with their fast and intense beams, and 13 XR200 Beam, a high output moving beam light — along with some LED washes and par cans. These were controlled via an Avolites Pearl Expert.
