Parlights Names Walt Dowling President/COO

FREDERICK, MD — Parlights, Inc. named Walt Dowling, a 20-year veteran in stage equipment, lighting controls, systems integration and energy management, as president and chief operating officer. Dowling, who has also worked on behalf of Altman, Crestron, and Phillips/Strand Lighting, most recently served as director of sales and marketing for Autani Corporation.

Dowling is returning to the company, having served as its vice president of systems design and sales from 1999 to 2006. Company founder Cary Levitt remains chairman of the board/CEO.

Mr. Dowling has held various senior positions with Altman, Crestron, and Phillips/ Strand Lighting.  Most recently he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Autani Corporation, an innovative clean tech company specializing in wirelessly networked energy management systems.
