WALLDORF, Germany — For a recent opening ceremony at the Walldorf Ärztezentrum (Medical Center) here, Session Pro provided LD/programmer Benjamin Schleger with Clay Paky fixtures including 32 Sharpys, 48 Alpha Spot QWO 800s, 24 A.leda Wash K20s and 24 A.leda Wash K10s.

More details from Clay Paky (www.claypaky.it):

“The town of Walldorf wanted fireworks, and we gave them something very similar,” Schleger said. “The concentrated beams and bright colors of our light and laser show in the town center left over a thousand spectators speechless! The extremely precise powerful beams of the Clay Paky Sharpys stood out in particular. The Sharpys were undoubtedly the best choice, and that is why we used them from start to finish.”

He continued: “In order to project images on the façade and create a beamshow sequence, we needed a light with a wide zoom and powerful output. For this reason, the choice fell on Clay Paky Alpha Spot QWO 800s, which won us over with their top ranking performance. Furthermore, thanks to the Clay Paky A.leda Wash K20s, we managed to immerse the new building in a rainbow of colors and give it the right emphasis.”

Uwe Schad was the project manager. Thomas Lachmann worked as laser design manager and operator.
