Koons comes to Serapid most recently from Otis Elevator Company, where he served as Product Marketing Manager – New Equipment for North America. With more than fifteen years experience in manufacturing and construction sales, including key positions at ThyssenKrupp Elevator and Universal Supply, Bill brings with him a solid background in business development and strategic planning. Koons has built strong relationships within the construction field, has gained certification for process improvement programs in the elevator industry, as well as serving as a presenter for AIA continuing education sessions.
Koons served as Cavalry Scout in the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, while stationed in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He currently lives in Simsbury, CT with his wife and two children, where he is studying Marketing at Indiana Wesleyan University.
