LAS VEGAS – NEP’s Screenworks just completed support of the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas where they provided video display solutions on what is officially the largest stage ever assembled in North America. The Kinetic Field Stage, designed by Jeffrey Erens, incorporated twenty LED displays on the main stage and eight additional displays at other locations in the arena, as well as one thousand light fixtures, thirty lasers and of course, the signature Owls.
“Stephen Lieberman’s lighting and video design was really astounding – the scale of the stage was massive, and he really took full advantage of the space, creating a live experience like no other. Screenworks was excited to help bring it to life, and we had a team of over twenty engineers, technicians and support staff on site to make it happen,” said Screenworks Director of Touring Randy Mayer. “Pulling from our own massive inventory, as well as coordinating sub rentals, we were able to provide nearly 10,000 square feet of LED display.”
The LED display was constructed using a combination of Screenworks’ exclusive X7 HD, SW12mm, Daktronics 10T 10mm, and 8, 9, 15 and 18mm LED screens, and was supported by 20 Image Pro HDs, 6 Sony HD Cameras and 3,000 feet of Tac12 fiber optic cable.
