VICTORIA, BC – In what has been reported as a non-work related accident, Yoan Plourde, a video technician who was part of the Solotech crew supporting the Jann Arden tour died early on Sept. 5 after a four-story fall at the Parkside Hotel and Spa here at about 2:30 a.m. Plourde, who was described by Solotech management as a “brilliant” video technician, was an only son; he is survived by his parents, who live in Quebec.
