Bandit Lites has built up a legendary reputation over 45 years. Garth Brooks has been on top of the music world for a quarter of a century. The new Rogue Series of moving fixtures doesn’t have this history, but CHAUVET Professional hopes it achieves iconic status too. The rugged moving head series, which was introduced by Chauvet earlier this year, took a giant step in that direction recently when Bandit Lites added Rogue R2 Beams to its inventory for the upcoming Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood tour. Emmy-nominated LD David Butzler of Bandit Lites selected the fixture for his tour design.

The Rogue R2 Beam, which was added to the Bandit Lites inventory, is an intensely powerful moving fixture that produces 133,200 lux at a 15-meter distance with its Osram Sirius 230 W HRI lamp. As versatile as it is powerful, the tough tour-ready fixture provides seamless split colors and features an 8-facet rotating prism, variable speed color wheel and 1° beam angle.

The new Rogue fixtures added to the Bandit Lites inventory aren’t likely to gather dust on the shelves after the Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood tour ends. “We expect to be using these fixtures quite often,” said Heffernan. “We’re excited to have them in our inventory.”
