AUSTIN, TX and WILLEBROEK, Belgium — Barco’s High End Systems announced an agreement with AED Distribution to expand their existing distribution partnership. Starting Jan. 1, 2015, AED Distribution will serve as European Master Distributor for HES products in Europe, including the Scandinavian countries, Portugal, Italy, and Greece. The companies also announced that HES’ Constantinos Vonofakidis and Tania Lesage will now serve as AED Distribution’s HES Regional Sales Manager and Brand Manager, respectively. AED Distribution will also be assuming HES distribution responsibilities for all of Africa.

The Master Distributorship concept via AED Distribution remains unchanged after a successful introduction in 2014 and continues to guarantee a higher service level for the customer in EMEA:

AED Distribution has been working intensively to build its network of European sub-distributors in 2014 and has established a relationship with AC Entertainment Technologies Ltd. (UK), Interlight (NL), Eclalux (FR), Preworks (Austria & Germany), LMP (Germany), SIM (Russia), Elit (Turkey), Eventech (Estonia), Company NA Stage & Light (Latvia), Prolight (Poland), DB Technolight (Romania), Entertainment Equipment Supplies – E.E.S. (Spain), Ogmios (Lithuania), and T-Servis Import (Czech Republic). The company will now focus to expand its sub-distributor network to an EMEA level with the appointment of other local companies.
To support this effort, 2 new colleagues will join the AED Distribution team as of the 1st of January 2015:
Constantinos Vonofakidis, having worked at High End Systems for 2 years, will continue its role as Regional Sales Manager.
Tania Lesage, also currently employed at High End Systems, will make the move to AED Distribution as High End Systems Brand Manager and will play a key role in creating and monitoring the conditions under which the High End Systems brand achieves success in the marketplace.
AED Distribution will represent High End Systems as its EMEA Master Distributor on the ISE show in Amsterdam (10-12 February, stand 3-A110) and during Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt (15-18 April), where it will demonstrate the latest products innovations such as the SolaSpot Pro 1500 LED Fixture, the Moving Mirror System (MMS) and the promising HOG4 OS with Plot View & Pixel Mapping features.
