ATLANTA — Chinchilla Theatrical announced that it is now offering a managed set rental program that could help theatres make money from sets that are now just taking up storage space. The scenic division of the theatrical “concierge” service company handles the details of getting used sets to where they’re needed for new staged productions. Between shows, sets are stored in Chichilla’s new Atlanta facility. Launched this year, the managed set rental program is starting off with sets for Annie, Hairspray, Spamalot, Grease and Fiddler on the Roof from client Augusta Players in Augusta, GA.

Theatres Can Now Make Money from Sets in Storage

For applicable shows, Chinchilla’s trained staff will book the set for rentals, manage logistics and maintain the set in rental ready condition.
