UDDEVALLA, Sweden – W-DMX by Wireless Solution was the go-to product of choice during the Teddybears recent festival tour. The Teddybears are a Swedish band formed in 1991, known for mixing pop, rock, hip-hop, electronica, reggae, punk and many other genres. Over the years their music has been featured in dozens of movies, TV shows, video games and most recently featured in Universal Orlando commercials.

During the Solid Sound Festival, the band performed in Uddevalla, Sweden, home of Wireless Solution. The Teddybears were headlining the festival and used the existing lighting rig but supplemented it with additional kit for further effects. W-DMX was used to send signal to the added equipment.
3 W-DMX BlackBox F-1 units sent signal to 4 Clay Paky B-EYE K10, 2 Clay Paky B-EYE K20, and 2 Lightmen XP-400 LED Strobe. Lighting Designer was Timo Kauristo and Interlite was the supplier of the W-DMX and additional lighting fixtures.
Ola Melzig, Production Manager for the tour, was on site for the Uddevalla performance and explained, “Actually, the weather and the short change over time were our biggest challenge. We hooked all the fixtures up during sound check, and Timo had already made the patch and show file on his laptop, and from there it was all plug and play. W-DMX is just so easy and works perfect every time.”
