QUEBEC CITY – For the Société immobilière du Québec’s recent expansion of the Québec City Convention Centre, Solotech was tasked with installing and programming a digital signage network of 57 LED monitors, four large video walls, lighting control, an AVB audio system, a videoconference room and a control system with touch panel.

The project also involved the installation of a sound system with 360 speakers.
“The customer wanted to be able to control with a touch panel the architectural lighting, heating, sound, video conferencing and other components,” noted Jean-François Huot, the Solotech sales consultant on the project, which began in May 2014. “All communications are done via the AVB/BackNet/internet network to allow a centralized communication across the sector 300 of the facility. This pioneering system was successfully implemented by our team who has the necessary know-how and expertise to accomplish a high-quality integration”.
