LITITZ, PA – The Event Safety Alliance (ESA) is pleased to announce the return of the Event Safety Summit, a three-day safety conference and training opportunity designed to meet the unique demands of the live event industry. This year’s Summit will take place December 1-3, 2015, at the world-class rehearsal facilities of Rock Lititz in Lititz, Pennsylvania.

More details from Event Safety Alliance (www.eventsafetyalliance.org):

Event Safety Alliance Vice-President Steven A. AdelmanBuilding on the tremendous success of the inaugural Event Safety Summit, the theme of this year’s event will be “The Way Forward.” ESS 2015 will examine the live event industry’s experience with regard to event safety, and provide tangible “next steps” toward improving safety at live events worldwide. Featuring a diverse array of presenters and presentation methods, the agenda for ESS 2015 was specifically crafted to provide practical advice and solutions while raising awareness and making progress toward a universal culture of safety for all segments of the live event industry. Breakout sessions on a variety of current topics have been added to the core program of speakers, panels, and facilitated discussions on relevant live-event issues. Event producers, production managers, service providers, venue operators, crew chiefs, stage managers, and others responsible for making safety decisions at live events are strongly encouraged to attend and take part in this critical exchange.

Registered participants of ESS 2015 will also receive a special invitation to attend an exclusive “beta test” of the ESA’s new Event Safety Access Training (ESAT) program on Monday, November 30, 2015. ESAT is one-day, entry-level safety course developed by the ESA to address the basic safety education and risk awareness needs of those entering into, or participating in, the live event profession. Attendees of this beta test course will get the unique opportunity to provide feedback directly to the program developers. These contributions will be used in the final revisions of ESAT before its inaugural presentation at the 2016 Tour Link Conference in January 2016.

2014 Event Safety SummitRegistration cost for the Event Safety Summit is $1,750, which includes instruction, materials, catered lunch and social activities. Participants will be responsible for their lodging, meals (other than lunch), and airport transportation costs. ESA Professional, Student, and Organizational members will receive 15% off the cost of their registration, which saves more than the cost of an annual membership! To enjoy these savings immediately, please join us as a member of the ESA here.
