The Dai Show Theatre Opens in Xishuangbanna International Resort in China

YUNNAN PROVINCE, China – The Dai Show Theatre, an innovative 1,183-seat venue that opened Sept. 25, 2015, is part of the Xishuangbanna International Resort developed by Wanda Group. Auerbach Pollock Friedlander collaborated with production designers and entertainment architects Stufish, who also designed the building, and show producer Franco Dragone on the project.

The Dai Show Theatre, which opened Sept. 25, 2015, marks a new era of entertainment in the Yunnan province.  Located at the Xishuangbanna International Resort in China and housing a water acrobatics show, the theatre is a highly sophisticated venue that sets a new level of artistic and technical achievement to excite audiences from all over the world.  The Xishuangbanna International Resort was developed by Wanda Group.

Auerbach Pollock Friedlander completed work on the 1,183-seat Dai Show Theatre in collaboration with production designers and entertainment architects Stufish, who also designed the building, and show producer Franco Dragone.  Auerbach Pollock Friedlander’s services encompassed site studies, programming, planning, theatre and technical design services, beginning in the earliest stages of the project to its completion.  The firm also provided audio-video consulting services for the project.

The theatre is part of a larger Wanda Group resort development covering 16-square-kilometers.  When completed, the development will have seven divisions – the theatre,  a theme amusement park, a tropical adventure park, upscale hotels, a commercial center, a 3A-rated hospital and a new tourism
